After one short season, Netflix's AJ and the Queen is coming to an end.
Drag Race showrunner and series star RuPaul made the announcement via Twitter earlier today.
"End of the road for AJ and the Queen," RuPaul wrote. "Netflix has decided to not extend our trip across America. Thank you for all the love & support. We're so very proud of the work."
The Michael Patrick King-created series followed RuPaul's character Ruby Red, a drag queen on a cross-country club tour who unknowingly takes an orphaned 9-year-old along for the ride in her RV. The show made way for a bunch of iconic drag performances as well as heartwarming moments.
The show also starred Izzy G, Michael-Leon Wooley, Tia Carrere, Josh Segarra, and Katerina Tannenbaum.
AJ and the Queen launched back in January last year and ran for only 10 episodes.
