Rian Johnson's wacky whodunnit Knives Out made the ranks of our best films of 2019 thanks to its fun tone and ensemble cast. Fortunately, fans of the film will be getting more antics, as Johnson has announced plans for a sequel.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Johnson has already got Daniel Craig on board for a second flick. Once again, Craig will play the Southern detective Benoit Blanc, but he'll be investigating a new case.
"Daniel had so much fun doing it, and he wants to do more," Johnson's producing partner Ram Bergman told THR.
The film hasn't been officially green lit just yet, but considering the original Knives Out made $246 million USD at the global box office, it shouldn't take too much convincing for Lionsgate to make it happen.
Here's hoping they call it Forks In.
