Paul Thomas Anderson's long-awaited follow-up to Phantom Thread is finally coming this year.
According to IndieWire, United Artists Releasing confirmed that the film will open in a limited release on November 26 before getting an expanded release on December 25, thus qualifying for the 2022 Academy Awards.
Official details on the film are scarce. It has a working title of Soggy Bottom, but the film still hasn't landed on a final theatrical release title.
As previously reported, the film is set in the 1970s and may have its lead in one Bradley Cooper. Other actors attached to the project are Benny Safdie, Alana Haim and Cooper Hoffmann, although the cast has not yet been officially confirmed.
