Neil Patrick Harris is recovering after an unusual injury that left him infected and in need of surgery.
Earlier this week, the How I Met Your Mother actor revealed that he had suffered a freak accident involving a sea urchin back in the summer while he climbing cliffs in Croatia.
His hand landed on a sea urchin and while he managed to get most of the spikes out himself, two remain lodged in his hand and one became infected. Apparently, it had pierced a tendon, requiring surprisingly intense surgery.
Thankfully, Harris says he is now "officially urchin free and on the mend."

In happier news, Harris has also landed a role in the upcoming The Matrix 4 film. Hopefully, there won't be any sea urchins on set.
Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss will reprise their roles in The Matrix 4, while Yahya Abdul-Mateen II was also announced as one of the leads.
