News of a Beavis and Butt-Head reboot have been floating around for a while, and back in February of 2021, it was confirmed that the duo would be returning for a new feature-length film for Paramount+.
The as-yet-untitled movie will be the first Beavis and Butt-Head film since 1996's Beavis and Butt-Head Do America. The reboot was originally announced as a series of new episodes for Comedy Central, though it seems like that's no longer the case. However, new episodes may still be on the way, as the return is described by creator Mike Judge as "a brand new movie and more."
And while the whole thing is clearly banking on some major nostalgia for the original series, It seems like Beavis and Butt-Head may not look exactly how we remember them.
In the same tweet announcing the new film, Judge included sketches of a much older Beavis and Butt-Head, writing "they need some time to get back in shape."
