Macaulay Culkin Sits at Home Alone over the Holidays but He Won't Watch 'Home Alone'

Or make the face

Macaulay Culkin will make a rare TV appearance on Ellen later this morning, but a teaser clip has already revealed how the former child star really feels about his breakout movie series Home Alone.

"I don't really watch them all that often," he said. "We did a 15th anniversary DVD commentary and I realized I hadn't seen it in 15 years."

He continued, "It's background radiation at Christmastime. I've had people who have wanted to sit down and watch it with me, which is both flattering and creepy."

Culkin went on to say that watching the films just remind him of that day on set, explaining: "I can't watch it the same way other people do."

He also said that he won't go out much during the holidays. "It's Macaulay season," he joked. "I try to go out less and less around that time of year."

It's kind of hard to blame the guy, since he's apparently still getting requests from people to make his iconic screaming Home Alone face — which he won't do, by the way.

He did, however, reprise his role as Kevin McAllister for the web series :DRYVRS back in 2015.

Culkin is currently promoting his Bunny Ears project — taking a break from his not-so-well-received Pizza Underground gig.
