BY Brock ThiessenPublished Mar 26, 2021

Following a teaser last summer, James Gunn has let loose our first full trailer for his hugely anticipated The Suicide Squad.

The Suicide Squad acts as a "soft reboot" of the 2016 film and will features a insanely huge cast. This includes Idris Elba (Bloodsport), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), Pete Davidson (Blackguard), John Cena (Peacemaker), Peter Capaldi (The Thinker), Sean Gunn (Weasel), Michael Rooker (Savant), Daniela Melchior (Ratcatcher 2), David Dastmalchian (Polka-Dot Man), Mayling Ng (Mongal) and Flula Borg (Javelin).

Oh and Sylvester Stallone is playing King Shark. So yeah, there's a ton of characters here.

Like all the 2021 titles from Warner Bros., The Suicide Squad will debut in whichever theatres are open this summer and at the same time on HBO Max. Right now, the film is set to arrive on August 6.
