We've spent all year waiting for a taste of Everybody Wants Some, Richard Linklater's "spiritual sequel" to his 1993 hit Dazed & Confused. Finally, we finally get a morsel with the film's first trailer.
Based on this two-and-a-half minute preview, it looks like Linklater has perfectly nailed the Dazed & Confused tone as he follows a handful of dudes riffing and chasing girls. Rather than high school teens in the '70s, however, this one follows '80s youths as they start college.
