Ethan Hawke Is the Only Feature on Fall Out Boy's New Album

He's featured on "The Pink Seashell"

Later this month, Fall Out Boy are releasing their eighth album So Much (for) Stardust. They're going to be playing Toronto this summer in support of the album, and we've heard two singles so far — "Love from the Other Side" and "Heartbreak Feels So Good" — but details on the thing were pretty scarce.

That's changed today, as FOB have shared the tracklist for So Much (for) Stardust, which includes a single feature: Ethan Hawke. That's actor (and sometimes musician) Ethan Hawke, father of former Exclaim! cover star Maya Hawke and star of the Before trilogy, Boyhood and 2021's The Black Phone, among a whole bunch of other movies.

It's unclear what Hawke contributes to the song in question, which is called "The Pink Seashell" and sits smack dab in the middle of the album's 13-song tracklist. FOB captioned the tracklist reveal with "all those seashells add up," which probably alludes to the seashells that the band was mailing fans at the beginning of the year.

In January, FOB guitarist Joe Trohman announced that he'd be stepping away from the band to focus on his mental health. "It pains me to make this decision, especially when we are releasing a new album that fills me with great pride," he wrote at the time.

So Much (for) Stardust arrives March 24.
