The second season of Atlanta debuts tonight, and creator and star Donald Glover (a.k.a. Childish Gambino) stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night (February 28) to talk about his wide range of ongoing projects.
After explaining the awkwardness of being a rapper ("You're in the video and you've got champagne and butts close to your face — and then you have to go to Whole Foods"), and differentiating between his Donald Glover and Childish Gambino faces, the star was shown a viral video of a young girl revamping his Awaken, My Love! cut "Redbone" to sell Girl Guide cookies.
Colbert then brought the girl from the video and her dad out on stage, and Glover proceeded to buy 113 boxes of cookies from the kid to help her reach her fundraising target.
