M. Night Shyamalan is back to deliver the twists, or at least as much seems clear from the fresh trailer for Knock at the Cabin, his new film — out February 3 — which is based on Paul G. Tremblay's 2018 novel The Cabin at the End of the World.

Starring Dave Bautista, Jonathan Groff, Ben Aldridge, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Kristen Cui, Abby Quinn and Rupert Grint, the cast certainly isn't short on star-power. Here's hoping Shyamalan's roster of all-stars can deliver better than that of 2021's Old, which made Exclaim!'s 11 Most Disappointing Films of that year.

An official synopsis from Universal Pictures reads:

While vacationing at a remote cabin, a young girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse. With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost.

Shyamalan penned the screenplay, which he will direct and produce (alongside Marc Bienstock and Ashwin Rajan). Steven Schneider, Christos V. Konstantakopoulos and Ashley Fox will serve as executive producers.
