After being named as the director of the forthcoming James Bond film earlier this year, Danny Boyle has backed out of the project.
The news arrived today via the official Bond Twitter account. "Michael G. Wilson, Barbara Broccoli and Daniel Craig today announced that due to creative differences Danny Boyle has decided to no longer direct Bond 25," the announcement reads.
So far, however, no new director for the project has been announced.
Boyle has recently been linked to a Beatles comedy, which could also feature Ed Sheeran. The next Bond film is set for release on November 8, 2019.
