We already know that mockumentary master Christopher Guest is bringing his Mascots movie to Netflix, and now further details have been revealed about the film's cast list.

The Hollywood Reporter has spoken to insiders, who revealed that as of now frequent collaborators Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara are not slated to appear in the film, which begins shooting this November. It's unclear if scheduling is the issue, though the pair are busy with season two of Schitt's Creek.

That's not to say it'll be a Christopher Guest movie with a bunch of unfamiliar faces. Instead, a long list of Guest mainstays are currently in talks for the film. These include Jane Lynch, Parker Posey, John Michael Higgins, Jennifer Coolidge and Bob Balaban. Chris O'Dowd, who starred in Guest's HBO series Family Tree, is also in talks for a role.

Mascots is expected to hit the streaming service next year.
