C'est banana(s)! A collaboration between Tame Impala and Diana Ross might be happening — on the soundtrack for the Minions sequel, of all things.

UPDATE (05/10, 11:45 a.m. ET): In the year of 2022, it's all true and real. You can scroll down to check out the full tracklist for what might be the year's greatest film soundtrack.

Over the weekend, some strange posters started popping up in London, prompting that volatile mix of nervous excitement and extreme confusion.

At first glance, the poster's styling makes it look like it's announcing a music festival lineup, helmed by Ross and Kevin Parker's one-man band. And the lineup is stacked: the other names billed are St. Vincent, Phoebe Bridgers, Caroline Polachek, BROCKHAMPTON, Thundercat, Tierra Whack, Brittany Howard, H.E.R., Kali Uchis, Weyes Blood, RZA, Bleachers, Jackson Wang, G.E.M., Verdine White, Heitor Pereira and Gary Clark Jr.

But if you look at the very bottom, there lie those fateful words: produced by Jack Antonoff (because of course). Even closer inspection reveals that there's one of those little yellow guys popping out of Ross's name and a few others embedded deep in the colourful, star-studded notice.

After being postponed due to the ongoing cause for postponements, Minions: The Rise of Gru is slated for release this July.

When sharing the trailer last December, People reported that the film's "1970s-inspired" soundtrack was being produced by Antonoff. Pop's right-hand man also contributed to Thank YouRoss's first album in 15 years, further cementing the possibility that this is, in fact, a real thing that's happening.

Tame Impala recently collaborated onstage with the Wiggles, so who's to say the Supremes legend wouldn't be next?
