Another Year On The Screen: Vol. 1

This collection of material from the rapidly evolving Vagrant Records label is almost as significant for what it doesn't contain as for what it does feature. Ostensibly a promotional vehicle for their bands, it's a compilation of videos from marquee acts like Dashboard Confessional ("Screaming Infidelities" and "Saints & Sailors"), Saves the Day ("At Your Funeral" and "Freakish") and the Get up Kids ("Overdue"), with a few little goodies tossed in. But with a roster that also includes Paul Westerberg, Rocket from the Crypt and Reggie and the Full Effect, the opportunities for a greater representation of the label's diversity were abundant.
