One of Dunder Mifflin's brightest is now repping a local Toronto brewery, and it's about as adorable a collaboration as you'd expect. Angela Kinsey, who portrayed Angela Martin on The Office has teamed up with Mill Street Brewery for a new charity program aimed at organic farmers.
For her part, Kinsey delivered a video from a certain beet farm, during which she speaks about how expensive it is for farmers to transition to organic.
"Converting the farm to organic takes a lot of work. Work that I'm completely capable of doing. I am very strong," she says in the clip. "Switching is also expensive. I did the math. I'm very good with numbers. So that's why Mill Street is helping Canadian farmers who want to make the switch to organic with Mill St. Organic Future."
As part of the initiative, Mill Street will be donating 50 cents from every sale of its special Organic Future brew to support Canadian farmers. Read more about the program here.
"Angela Kinsey strikes the perfect balance between professionalism, light-hearted humour, and doing good. She comes from a farming background and really believed in our goal of making it easier for farmers to convert to organic agriculture," Mill Street's VP of marketing, Sam Jacobs, said in a statement [via blogTO].
Previously, the brewery had hinted at the collaboration in an Instagram post that read: "[Angela Kinsey] has finally taken over *the* farm and has some big changes to make. Any guesses what they are?"
