After three seasons, the Starz adaptation of Neil Gaiman's American Gods has been cancelled.
The show, which starred Ricky Whittle and Ian McShane, has not been renewed and will not return for Season 4. Instead, it concluded with its Season 3 finale, which aired on March 21.
"Everyone at Starz is grateful to the dedicated cast and crew, and our partners at Fremantle who brought author and executive producer Neil Gaiman's ever-relevant story to life that speaks to the cultural climate of our country," a network representative told Deadline.
Since Season 3 ended at a pivotal point in the source material, there are talks to conclude the show with a TV movie. Still, nothing has been confirmed just yet.
American Gods first debuted in 2017.
