Huge news from Hollywood — producers have uncovered a property that they haven't tried rebooting yet. Yes, Will Smith and Kevin Hart are set to take over for Steve Martin and the late John Candy in a new remake of Planes, Trains and Automobiles.
The film is being written by Aeysha Carr, who has previously written for Brooklyn 99, The Carmichael Show, Everybody Hates Chris and the upcoming Hulu series Woke. At this point, it's unclear who will be directing the film or when it might arrive.
How the new film will compare to the original is yet to be seen, but at least Carr has an impressive comedic background. She might just pull it off!
