Crowd work is a staple of standup. Everyone from amateurs to veterans can do it, but if you want to see the best of the best, you have to go to What's Your F**king Deal. Hosted by Big Jay Oakerson, a dirty-minded, chilled-out metalhead who's also sharp-witted and quick on his feet, this show makes sure no one in the crowd goes unnoticed and it fantastically refuses to hold back.

For some inexplicable reason, the main theme of this show ended up being bad shirts. It was such a simple premise, but because all the comics were so great, it became hysterical. Godfrey found hilarity in the fact that an audience member's V neck shirt was so badly made that it had become a crappy U neck. Julian McCollough joked about a different man's shirt being too baggy, then McCollough and half the audience doubled over in laughter when the man revealed that McCollough had made fun of him a year earlier for his shirt being too tight. In addition, Aaron Berg made fun of Oakerson because he was wearing a football jersey and his frame is so big that he looked like he was wearing shoulder pads, plus Oakerson endlessly roasted a guy with a T-shirt with a pattern of jungle leaves because he wore it despite the fact that his girlfriend repeatedly warned him it was ugly.

Aside from the shirt jokes, Oakerson's and Berg's jokes were the highlights of the show. Oakerson's line about how an old couple looked like they would "live on a houseboat to murder foster kids" was insanely original and gut-bustingly funny, then Berg's closing set about everyone from a guy who looked "like patient zero for AIDS" to a woman who he'd met before when she was still in high school was unceasingly hilarious.
