"Weird Al" Yankovic Is Releasing His Own Pinball Machine

You too can own Weird Al's Museum of Natural Hilarity

The Venn diagram of "Weird Al" Yankovic fans and pinball fans probably looks something like a circle — both things are fun and just a little dorky, with an innocent, family-friendly strain of nostalgia to them. So, it makes a lot of sense that Weird Al has partnered with pinball manufacturer Multimorphic for his very own pinball machine.

Called Weird Al's Museum of Natural Hilarity, the machine features 17 classic Weird Al songs — including "Like a Surgeon," "White & Nerdy" and "Word Crimes" — and over 2,000 custom phrases recorded by Yankovic. The playfield (a.k.a. the part encased in glass) includes nods to Weird Al videos and comedy bits from across his career. These include a "ball-locking replica of the 'UHF' camera," a "spiral staircase ramp surround[ing] a motorized hamster wheel lock," and a "second-level playfield with the Little Hungry One Cafe."

Weird Al's Museum of Natural Hilarity comes in a standard and limited edition, with the standard edition available to purchase for $11,300 USD. Owners of existing P3 machine can grab the game kit for $3,000 USD. You can head to the Multimorphic website for more info and watch a trailer for the machine below.

In related news, it was recently announced that Daniel Radcliffe would be playing Weird Al in the upcoming biopic Weird: The "Weird Al" Yankovic Story which was co-written by Yankovic and Eric Appel.

The first official peek of Radcliffe as Yankovic appeared online last week, and you can check out that photo below.
