Hannah Gadsby's new Netflix special, Douglas — the direct follow-up to her award-winning 2017 standup routine, Nanette — is set to arrive on the platform later this month. Now, the comedian has shared its official trailer.
"I had no plans to make it in America," Gadsby jokes in the clip. "If you're here because of Nanette…why?"
She continued: "I went and put all my trauma eggs into one basket like a fucking idiot, and now here we are."
Gadsby has been performing Douglas for some time now. The Netflix special — named after her dog — was recorded at the Los Angeles date on her recent tour.
Douglas arrives on Netflix on May 26.
