Canadian-born, UK-based comedian and creator of Netflix's The Duchess, Katherine Ryan, is reportedly working with Amazon to develop a new show.
While Amazon's Prime Video is keeping quiet about the project so far, Deadline reports that the streamer's first deal with Ryan will be a "comedy entertainment project" titled Backstage with Katherine Ryan. And while the exact details of what the show might entail are so far unclear, it will reportedly be produced by Expectation in the U.K.
Ryan's previous projects have mostly been attached to Netflix. Alongside The Duchess, Ryan has also hosted her stand-up specials In Trouble and Glitter Room through the streamer.
So far, few other details surrounding Ryan's partnership with Amazon have been made available.
