While Rick and Morty hasn't even launched into its 70-episode renewal yet, a new animated comedy from series co-creator Justin Roiland and writer Mike McMahan has been picked up by Hulu.
As Variety reports, the streaming service has ordered two eight-episode seasons of Roiland and McMahan's Solar Opposites. The series centres on a family of aliens from a different world who are forced to take refuge in middle America.
The show's first season is set to debut in 2020. Roiland and McMahan will serve as writers and executive producers, with the former also voicing main characters Terry and Korvo.
Variety notes that Solar Opposites had previously been in development at Fox, with Roiland having teased the project on social media back in 2015.
