As Variety reports, Buress will join stars Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Priyanka Chopra and Ilfenesh Hadera in the new film.
Buress will play a local living in the film's beach community setting. To put it simply, the addition of Buress bumps up the film's cred quite a bit.
Baywatch is being directed by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses, The King of Kong) and will begin shooting in Atlanta later this month.
