Big Fun is launching its inaugural comedy, music, art and food festival in Vancouver this month. The Big Fun! Festival touts industry heavyweights like Eugene Mirman and Trixie Mattel dispersed across 10 venues in the city.
Over 15 events will take place in Vancouver from November 20 to 24, including local music, underground comedians, drag and performing artists and more. Curated by local comedy leaders Cameron MacLeod, Jaik Puppyteeth and Sean Devlin, the festival aims to feature diverse and alternative performers, including queer programming.
Big Fun! Festival will be host to acts like Eugene Mirman of Bob's Burgers and Flight of the Conchords, Trixie Mattel of RuPaul's Drag Race, Jena Friedman of Adult Swim, Zack Fox, and Dirty Bird Records boss Claude VonStroke, as well as special performances from Vancouver's the Hero Show, Bratpack, the Sunday Service, Foxhole Comedy, Millennial Line, Jokes Please, and Mixed Gems.
