Last year, Talib Kweli said "culture vultures" were to blame for holding up a long-awaited new album from Black Star. Now, ahead of its arrival, Kweli and partner in rhyme Yasiin Bey have shared their first new material in a decade with the help of friend Dave Chappelle.

Today, Chappelle, Kweli and Bey have launched a podcast called The Midnight Miracle, which "uniquely blends the salon and variety show traditions" for discussion led by the trio of hosts. Produced by Luminary Media, the shows were recorded as part of Chappelle's "Summer Camp" series held last year in his native Ohio.

The first two episodes of The Midnight Miracle have arrived as part of today's launch, and the second features a new, untitled Black Star single currently floating around online as "Automatic."

Produced by Madlib, the track marks Kweli and Bey's first new music as Black Star since 2011 single "Fix Up," which Madlib also produced.

Both the new song's emergence and a March tease from Kweli that samples were being cleared could mean that a further details on the duo's first new album since 1998 collaborative LP Mos Def and Talib Kweli Are Black Star aren't far away.

You can hear the first episode of The Midnight Miracle below, titled "How to Inspire (Side A)"

"Making a podcast isn't the obvious next move for me, but it's the right one," Chappelle said of the show in a statement. "The Midnight Miracle gives you a look into how me and my friends process the world around us, and I think it will change the way listeners think of what a podcast can be."
