Somewhere, floating in the same vein as grand and temperamentally heavy outfits such as Neurosis and Acacia is Zyon. However, there is something very mature sounding with all the emotional Queensrÿche symphony elements that are woven in between the raucously enrapturing moments of hardcore, which makes this a bit of an early '90s musical time capsule. The slick production by far catapults them as professionals, but something tells me this type of music would best be suited for open-minded Europeans who still have a thing for operatic dramas and distorted guitars.
