Zoon has shared a video for "Giizhig," a track taken from his recently released EP A Sterling Murmuration.

Directed by Graham Caldwell, the video is every bit as vibey and atmospheric as the shoegaze song, showing turquoise-tinted abstractions.

Zoon's Daniel Monkman said in a statement, "Giizhig is a shorter word for the phrase 'Ingii-pawaadaan babaamaashiyaan giizhigong' which means 'I dreamed I was soaring around in the sky.' 'Giizhig' alone means 'sky'. As a young person I'd find ways to escape my reality, sometimes I'd lay in a field and watch the clouds shape shift in the sky, just like wasakeechuk, an old mythical creature that lived with the first indigenous people of Turtle Island."

Watch the clip below. A Sterling Murmuration is Zoon's second EP of 2022, following Big Pharma. Monkman also makes up one half of OMBIIGIZI, who released Sewn Back Together this summer.
