Youth Lagoon Hits Up Montreal, Toronto on North American Tour

Buzz-worthy songwriter Youth Lagoon (aka Trevor Powers) released The Year of Hibernation last month via Fat Possum, and we commented at the time that the home-recorded collection was "just the kind of imposing statement to get him out of that bedroom for a very long time." Sure enough, Powers has just booked a North American tour.

The outing will last for most of November and its hectic schedule includes 19 shows that span from coast to coast, from the southern U.S. to Canada. There are two gigs in our country: at Montreal's Il Motore on November 18 and at Toronto's the Garrison the next day. Young Magic will open all shows.
