Memphis rapper Young Dolph was shot and killed today in his hometown, law enforcement have confirmed to Fox 13. He was 36 years old.
Dolph, born Adolph Robert Thornton, Jr., was shot at Memphis, TN, bakery Makeda's Butter Cookies. Shop owner Maurice Hill told reporters that someone drove up and shot the rapper while he was in the shop buying cookies.
Dolph released seven albums in his lifetime, the most recent being Dum and Dummer 2, his second collaborative record with fellow Memphis rapper Key Glock.
