Yes We Mystic are revving up to release their debut LP Forgiver next month, but before the full set of songs arrives, Exclaim! has got the premiere of a brand new live video for album cut "Undertow."
The clip was filmed during the band's hometown headlining slot at Winnipeg's Big Fun Festival earlier this year, and documents a flawless live rendition of the orchestral pop jam. Showing off the band's eclectic instrumentation, as well as some flashy lighting and camera techniques, the video captures Yes We Mystic in all of their onstage glory.
"The song documents two elderly friends, separated by the years, trading old memories from their adjacent deathbeds," the band's Adam Fuhr tells Exclaim! "The video aims to mimic the gaps in our memories with key details missing and warped moments appearing at the wrong times."
