It's been more than a year since Yeasayer released Fragrant World, and the band are still promoting it; they have unveiled a video for the closing track, "Glass of the Microscope."
The visuals play off the futuristic, sci-fi-tinged sound of the slow-burning song by mixing scientific lab work with psychedelic colours (that look a bit like they might be chemicals viewed under a microscope) along with dancers and trippy computer animation. It was directed Ruben van Leer and Jamie Timms, with filming taking place at Naturalis Biodiversity Centre in Leiden, Netherlands.
It premiered on Wired.
