As promised, members of metalcore crew As I Lay Dying have shared music from their new project Wovenwar via a song called "All Rising."
The band features everyone from As I Lay Dying save for frontman Tim Lambesis, who is awaiting sentencing for an attempted murder plot on his wife, to which he pled pled guilty earlier this year.
"All Rise" features the sort of guitar acrobatics and musical aggression we've come to expect from AILD, though they've ditched any sort of aggressive vocals to opt for melodic singing instead. As such, this sounds more like hard rock than metalcore.
