Wiz Khalifa recently delivered his long-awaited Rolling Papers 2, a 26-song opus about rolling papers and the various ways one can utilize them to get blazed. If you listened to the whole thing, you probably zoned out with an audio contact high. But those who were paying attention likely noticed some uncomfortably racist lyrics.
In the song "Hot Now," Khalifa says, "Smoke got my eyes looking Korean." The line has drawn criticism from a number of Korean people, as All K Pop points out.
Appearing on The Breakfast Club, Wiz Khalifa was confronted about the controversy. Responding to Charlamagne Tha God, he said, "Chill out. I'm not a racist. I love all races."
When given the opportunity to apologize for the comments, Wiz said, "No. I have Korean friends who are not offended. I don't know those people who are saying that.... I love Koreans."
