Wine Lips will be joining Exclaim!'s Class of 2019 later this month at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto, but before you catch them live, we're premiering the band's video for "Shark Eyes."
The track marks a brand new single from the group, following up their 2017 self-titled debut full-length, and its title makes reference to those friends that "everyone has… god love' em."
"Shark Eyes is a term we use for when people get black out drunk," frontman Cam Hilborn tells Exclaim! "When they have had so much to drink that they are staring right through you, we call that getting Shark Eyed."
Fittingly, the accompanying video is an intoxicating blend of bright colours and animated sharks.
The psychedelic clip is definitely a fun one, though we wouldn't condone drinking excessively in the presence of actual sharks.
Watch the video for "Shark Eyes" below.
Wine Lips will perform as part of Exclaim!'s Class of 2019 showcase at the Horseshoe Tavern on January 26. See full details here.
