The Wilderness of Manitoba Announce Ontario Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Aug 28, 2012

As previously reported, Toronto folkies the Wilderness of Manitoba are ready to release third full-length affair, Island of Echoes. Shortly after the disc's September 18 street date through Pheromone Records, the Canyon Country-referencing act will make their way to a number of Canadian stages on an upcoming tour.

A full tour scheduled has yet to be revealed, but a press release confirms that the act will be hitting Ontario pretty hard this fall. Of the 11 shows announced so far, ten of them take place in the group's home province, but the last posted date takes place in Winnipeg on November 4. More concert details are expected to drop in the near future, but you can see the itinerary as is down below.

In other news, the band are offering up a recent Europe-only EP called Delaware House as part of a premium Island of Echoes pre-order. The six-song EP was recorded at the Hogtown home of one of the troupe's members, and you can peep a live performance of the mini-effort's "Forest City Love" in the video clip at the bottom of the page.
