Toronto-based music publishing stalwarts Popguru Sound & Vision turned 25 this year, and to celebrate, the company has announced back-to-back nights of live music and entertainment this December.

Popguru artists and alums of the company's digital concert series, the Popguru Revue, will headline the festivities hosted at the Rivoli.

On December 15, Odario will kick off the first night of shows by performing his new single, "Do Nada," along with music from both his solo catalogue and his time as a member of Grand Analog. He'll be supported by John Orpheus, who is expected to play cuts from his 2021 album Saga King, as well as unreleased tracks from his upcoming EP.

Members of several local bands will host a Songwriters' Circle on December 16, during which they'll not only perform songs they wrote, but provide insight into their songwriting process as well. Will Whitwham and Victoria Carr of the Wilderness of Manitoba, Shaina Silver-Baird of Ghost Caravan and Alex Exists and Keegan Beach of Lastli will lead the Songwriters' Circle.

Tickets for the first night of festivities can be found here, and tickets for the Songwriters' Circle can be purchased here

Alongside the celebratory live shows, Popguru artists shared a cover of David Bowie's "Sound & Vision" — after which the company was named — under the name the Syncopation Rebels. The impromptu group is made up of Orpheus, Exists, Sam Casey, Martha Johnson and Mark Gane of Martha and the Muffins, and producer Mike Schlosser.
