The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced the artists who will be inducted this year.
Whitney Houston, Notorious B.I.G., Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, T. Rex and the Doobie Brothers will all be inducted during a ceremony on May 2.
They were selected from a shortlist that also included Motörhead, Dave Matthews Band, Pat Benatar, Soundgarden, Thin Lizzy, Judas Priest, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan, Kraftwerk, MC5 and Todd Rundgren.
Houston, Notorious B.I.G., T. Rex and the Doobie Brothers are all first-time nominees. Nine Inch Nails and Depeche Mode have been nominated in previous years, as well.
The ceremony will take place in Cleveland, home to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and will be broadcast live on HBO.
Last year's inductees were Radiohead, the Cure, Janet Jackson, Roxy Music, Stevie Nicks, Def Leppard and the Zombies.
