Whitechapel Extend North American Tour, Team Up with DevilDriver

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Apr 2, 2014

Knoxville annihilators Whitechapel have added even more shows to their springtime tour schedule to help promote their impending Our Endless War LP, with the newly added dates finding the band teaming up for co-headlining shows with DevilDriver.

As previously reported, Whitechapel have a number of U.S. dates coming up this month before Our Endless War drops April 29 through Metal Blade. These new dates start up about a month later and will find the co-headliners supported by Carnifex, Revocation, Rivers of Nihil and Fit for an Autopsy.

"We're stoked to announce our tour with good friends DevilDriver," Whitechapel said in a group statement. "We've played several shows with them before and really enjoy performing and hanging out with them and believe that combining together to make one big brutal tour only made sense."

Most of the tour dates rest beneath the U.S./Canada border, but the metal tour makes its way into Canada for a few shows, which will take place in Calgary, Edmonton, Regina and Toronto. You'll find the details for all of Whitechapel's concert info down below.

As previously reported, the group's Our Endless War was produced by longtime studio collaborator Mark Lewis (Kataklysm, Six Feet Under) and is said to deliver "dramatic, incredibly heavy walls of thrilling noise." Following the first teaser track, "The Saw is the Law," the group are now also offering up an early look at the LP via a stream of "Mono," which you'll find beneath the tour listings.
