What started as a ridiculous rumour earlier this year has just been confirmed by the man himself. Yes Kid Rock, who once declared "You Never Met a Motherfucker Quite Like Me," has confirmed plans to enter the already bonkers world of the U.S. Senate.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed a new website had launched at KidRockforSenate.com, and the performer took to Twitter to confirm that it's absolutely not a joke.
UPDATE (7/13, 12 p.m. EDT): As Billboard points out, many online are questioning the validity of Kid Rock's claims. Mainly, when you click to buy merch on the supposed campaign site, you are redirected to a Warner Bros. Records page, leading many to think this is all a ploy of Kid Rock to promote new music.
