Next year marks the 30th anniversary of Weezer's 1994 Blue Album, and the band have begun teasing plans for a deluxe reissue and a tour.

Speaking with Collider, singer-guitarist Rivers Cuomo said that the band are "putting ideas together" for an anniversary celebration. He said, "We are going to give it its due respect and come out with a really amazing deluxe package with a bunch of additional material, and of course, we've gotta do some kind of epic tour."

Weezer have already booked a tour of the UK and Ireland for 2024, and Cuomo teased that the band will celebrate the Blue Album after that.

"I think the public tour dates cut off in June and then there's this very suspicious blank space in our calendar for months after that," he said, "so I'd keep your eye on that."

Weezer's Blue Album came out on May 10, 1994. They released a deluxe edition in 2004, expanding the 10-song original album with 14 bonus tracks, including outtakes, demos and acoustic performances.
