Wavves' Nathan Williams has come through with the first release from his Ghost Ramp imprint's monthly singles series. His contribution to a split with Best Coast is a new tune about a "fucked" situation, and it's called "Dreams of Grandeur."
If you're big into Wavves' wall of fuzzed-out distortion and summery, strawberry-sweetened pop-punk hooks, then the new song will hit the spot. Despite the cheery melody, the song has a bit of a glum and hellacious Paradise Lost feel to the narrative. That said, the hook has Williams noting that he's picking up his head and "feeling better."
You can hear the track down below. Best Coast's contribution is a cover of Nirvana's "Dumb."
