We're going to be buried in outrageous commercials this Sunday (February 7), but you can taste a rainbow of hilarity ahead of time via a new Skittles ad starring Aerosmith vocalist Steven Tyler and a singing portrait.
The ad, which is part of the candy company's "Root for the Rainbow" promotion, finds a busy Tyler walking through his mansion, seemingly annoyed with the unveiling of a likeness of him crafted entirely in Skittles, thin moustache and all. He calls the piece "E-to-the-z-oo-twiddly-dees-gusting," but gets a surprise once the portrait shows off its pipes.
You'll find out how the artwork fares in front of the onetime American Idol judge down below.
Super Bowl 50 takes place this Sunday at Santa Clara, CA's Levi's Stadium, with the Carolina Panthers facing off against the Denver Broncos. If a rainbow happens to appear over the Bay Area, Skittles will give away 100,000 packets of candy away for free, providing winners hashtag #SkittlesRainbow and #Contest ahead of kickoff.
Tyler isn't the only musician shilling during the Super Bowl. Earlier today (February 2), Drake's "Hotline Bling"-spoofing commercial for T-Mobile premiered online ahead of its official televised broadcast.
