Watch Perry Farrell's New "Pirate Punk Politician" Video

The Jane's Addiction frontman is also doing an online Q&A today about his upcoming album 'Kind Heaven'

Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell is getting set to release his new solo album Kind Heaven early next month, and now he's treating fans to a video for the single "Pirate Punk Politician," in addition to letting them in on an online Q&A. 

The video is set to go live in the player below this evening at 5:30 p.m. EDT. A press release explains, "Directed by ground-breaking artists 'Mortis' and Executive Producers Seb Webber and Jerad Anderson of Godless.Studio, the film incorporates both animation and live action visuals to create a potent statement."

To go along with the new video, Farrell will also be conducting a Q&A on his YouTube channel. If you'd like to participate, you can click here when the time comes.

Kind Heaven is due out on June 7 via BMG.
 
As previously reported, the upcoming record was co-produced by Farrell and longtime David Bowie collaborator Tony Visconti. Also appearing on the album are guest contributions from Dhani Harrison (son of George Harrison), Elliot Easton (the Cars), Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters) and Farrell's wife Etty Lau Farrell.
