Watch Chris Cornell's Daughter Sing Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" for Her Dad and Chester Bennington

12-year-old Toni Cornell paid homage to her late father and family friend on 'Good Morning America'

Toni Cornell, the 12-year-old daughter of the late Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell, appeared on Good Morning America this morning (August 4).

She paid homage to her father, as well as Linkin Park's Chester Bennington, with a live rendition of Leonard Cohen classic "Hallelujah" — the same song the Bennington performed at Cornell's funeral earlier this year.

The young Cornell was accompanied by OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder for this morning's television appearance, and the performance was met with some less-than-dry eyes in the audience. Watch a video tribute to the two singers, as well as the performance itself down below.

Bennington was a close family friend of the Cornells, and the godfather to Chris Cornell's son (also named Chris).

The Soundgarden singer passed away in May; his death was ruled a suicide by hanging. Bennington died the same way last month.
