Hamilton pop-rockers Arkells had a long-noted jamming history with Nick Nurse during his tenure as head coach of the Toronto Raptors, and now they've taken it international.
Nurse was fired by the Raptors in April, but the Arkells made their way south of the border to Nurse's new home in Philadelphia — which also happens to be where the band's folk-rock friends and former tourmates Mt. Joy are based.
The three respective parties came together in a basement jam session this week to cover the 1977 Fleetwood Mac classic "Dreams."
Check out a quick clip of the impromptu group's performance below, with Nurse sat at a piano and Arkells frontman Max Kerman on keys and vocals.
