Watch Amy Lee Join Korn Onstage for "Freak on a Leash" Performance

No scatting involved

The Woodstock '99 vibes in the air following the release of Netflix's new docuseries might not be the warmest or fuzziest, but it's certainly brought Korn back into the collective consciousness — not that they've ever really left our hearts. Further mainlining the nostalgia drip last night (August 16), the band united with aughts-born nu metallers Evanescence on the opening date of their co-headlining tour in Denver, CO.

At the end of their 16-song set, Jonathan Davis was joined onstage by Evanescence's Amy Lee for a duet rendition of '98 nu metal classic, Follow the Leader lead single "Freak on a Leash." Fan-shot footage of the performance, which you can watch below, shows the two singers trading off on their signature vocal styles, with Lee tapping out around the scatting portion of the song (thankfully).

Elsewhere in the set, per Loudwire's reporting, Korn debuted 2019's "Idiosyncrasy" live, alongside performances of "Spike in My Veins" — their first time performing it live since 2015 — as well as "Rotting in Vain," "Blind," "Here to Stay" and "Falling Away From Me," among others.
