Until recently, we never would have expected to see Washed Out main man Ernest Greene with an acoustic guitar, but that's exactly what the frontman was playing when he showed up last night (January 7) at the Late Show with David Letterman.
Vigorously strumming barre chords, Greene fronted a band that included a live rhythm section, an electric guitarist and a keyboardist. They played the upbeat Paracosm standout "All I Know," sounding a long way from the bleary chillwave style with which Washed Out have long been associated.
