By the looks of the Walkmen's touring habits, you'd think these guys really hate home. Since the release of last year's You & Me LP, the movin' and shakin' New Yorkers have rarely been off the road, stopping by this town, that town, even the same towns they just hit. Well, it appears this non-stop rock-on-the-road lifestyle isn't going anywhere, with the band announcing they're heading out on yet another North American tour.
This spring, the Walkmen will play a series of live dates in the U.S., stopping by Miami, Pittsburgh, San Fransisco and some place we've never heard of called Farifax. They'll also be making two stops in Canada, one in Montreal on April 20 and another in Toronto on April 21.
However, there is a catch. The entire tour, minus the Montreal show, will be with classic rock revivalists Kings of Leon. To be polite, we'll leave it up to you to decide if this is good or bad news.
There's no word of any new recordings coming from the Walkmen but the band did recently make a new video for You & Me track "Four Provinces," which the band shot with a bunch of cute-lookin' dancing kids in Nepal. You can check it out below.
