Victoria's Bridal Party Announce Sophomore Album 'Cool Down'

The indie popsters have also shared a music video for single "Pool"

Victoria indie pop quintet Bridal Party have announced their second full-length album and shared a music video for latest single "Pool" for the occasion.

Cool Down arrives February 15. It follows the band's 2019 debut Too Much, as well as a couple of earlier EPs, 2017's Negative Space and 2015's Hot Daze.

Directed by Leta C-W and Koty Bannouvong, the "Pool" video is set at a fittingly swanky dinner party to match the song's spaciousness and slinky bass groove. Guitarist Joseph Leroux penned the lyrics, inspired by the 2016 Porches album of the same title.

"I wanted the lyrics to feel potent and understated," Leroux explained in a press release. "They were written with building myself up in mind, in a time when I was looking for a lot of validation from other people. I wanted to remind myself with a song, of the value of choosing yourself and choosing periods of quiet, before coming back into your communities."
